The City of Hallandale Beach is a public entity subject to Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes concerning public records. Please be advised that all submitted Board and Committee applications are a public record and therefore subject to the disclosure provisions of Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes.
The Quadrant Safety Board (QSB) is designed to foster communication between the police and the community they serve. The QSB allows residents in each of the HBCRA quadrants to have a voice in the development of safety measures in their community, as well as increase access to City staff and their expertise, and possibly acquire funding to finance redevelopment projects to specifically address safety concerns in their specific quadrants.
*The Board shall consist of nine (9) members comprised of two (2) members from each of the four Quadrants and one (1) at-large member.
The QSB shall be comprised of two (2) members from each of the following geographical boundaries that are the four Quadrants within the HBCRA Community Redevelopment Area and one (1) at-large member:
The Northeast Quadrant is bordered to the west by N.E. 1st Avenue, to the north by Pembroke Road, to the east by N.E. 14th Avenue, and to the south by East Hallandale Beach Boulevard.
The Southeast Quadrant QSB is bordered to the west by S.E. 1st Avenue, to the north by East Hallandale Beach Boulevard, to the east by Federal Highway/U.S. 1, and to the South by County Line Road.
The Northwest Quadrant QSB is bordered to the west by the 1-95 Highway, to the north by Pembroke Road, to the east by Dixie Highway, and to the south by West Hallandale Beach Boulevard.
The Southwest Quadrant QSB is bordered to the west by the 1-95 Highway, to the north by West Hallandale Beach Boulevard, to the east by Dixie Highway, and to the south by County Line Road.
