Project consists of a shipping container restaurant, lounge and bar called Kao Sushi Bar and Grill. The property is comprised of a very small parcel of land that has been vacant for many decades which is only 4,581 SF. However, we believe that the use of a shipping container restaurant would not only be a major attraction for the FFADD but would also serve as a great gateway to the district, visible not only from Hallandale Blvd and S. Dixie Hwy, but also the Virgin/Brightline trains.

The total project cost is approximately $950,000.

This project was approved by HBCRA Board of Directors May 13, 2019. Submittal of building permits is pending.
